enough of this cold weather!

the temperature dropped to 13 degree celsius yesterday and will drop for few days more, accordging to the weather observatory. and for me, this is not reasonable. i just hate being out there. for others, it's a fashion thing. they think - is just very mild. meaning, hong kong people just love it, enjoying their favourite outfits.

compare in the other cold countries, these kind of weather sounds just about perfect. even a long-sleeved ones that you've been saving all summer are essential without having to cover them up with a boring coats. all right, that's what you'd think? except if you were actually living in hong kong. coats and jackets, woolly scarves, even a down vests or two is witnessed during this time.

a few years back, when i was still enjoying it, i suffered through a fashion fad involving those jackets with hood like the ones from north face  and other jackets designed for subzero weather. this was the worst trend ever happened routinely worn well, even it just dropped to 20. when the weather inconsitently changed once every other day, wearing these jackets are just ridiculous.

i was with my friends last night at the crowded, middle-class-oriented, causeway bay  and the weather was dramatically cold. i'd been in and out of shopping malls looking for something to cover myself but pretending i could make it without having an extra jacket, a woolly scarves or a bonnet but the idea has failed to inspire me. so we came up with another discussion, a whoosh at lan kwai fong's insomia bar glugged up some wines, keeping myself a little warmer.

the city are expecting more cold weather, like it or not -  'am staying indoors.
