christmas thoughts

what is christmas?

to some, time to make money. to many, time to spend money. to many more, time to wish for money.

to some, time to sell gifts. to many, time to exchange gifts. to many more, time to long for gifts.

to some, time to sell toys. to many, time to buy toys. to many more, time to dream of toys.

it is also a time for family reunion. time for homecoming. time to visit long-missed friends. time for parties. time for noche buena. time for puto (rice cake), suman, kutsinta, and other native delicacies.

to my friends:
treena & robin of australia, for the nice xmas card. loads of love to both of you. saps & patrick of the US, thanks for the e-card, so sweet both of you to remember me. soy & bob plus tobit for the wonderful dinner & coronas - see you in catanduanes. karen & rob for the nice email greetings & for reading my entries. jayne & james for the lovely calls & text messages. noel & christine & family for the wonderful time. apple & jake & family, my thoughts are with you. yuyu & oren for the great laughs. masel for reminding me of bday celebrants. to isay, i know it's hard.... may the spirit of xmas will always be with you & geoff. to babes of canada for a wonderful tea set candles. tina & o'ne for the sweet greetings.

Hope you had yourself a FANTASTIC time, and you got to see all your loved ones, and you're not tooo sad to leave them, and that your 2005 is THE MOST SPECIAL anyone can ask for.
