hong kong is known for taller buildings, it get's me a little nauseated seeing them everyday. not tired of it but somehow, i just wanted to be in a place where i would not want to see the heights or higher buildings. they are beautiful to look, infact most of the tall buildings around here built in glasses that are right next to each other. i was kind of curious how window cleaners maintain this. that's a lot of hardwork, i think.

it's always nice to escape away from all these skycrapers and amused myself at one of hong kong's talk-about-town, in SoHo area, also known as the South of Hollywood. it's a popular area for it has one of the world's longest escalator that goes for about 800 meters. it's kind of cool to ride up while you can see a lot of bars side by side. during the mornings, the escalator only goes down until about ten while it reverses directions to goes back up. or you will have to do a lot of exercise using the stairs.

the resto's around this district has such a lot of varities just about for any taste you want. it never gets boring all night for a little red wines. most of them are fairly decent to hang out on friday evenings even if they are a little expensive. yet, a place to bring visitors after shopping.
